France Surrenders Again
No surprise.
After weeks of protests and strikes, President Jacques Chirac announced plans Monday to “replace” a law that would have made it easier for companies to fire workers under age 26.The deal represents a defeat for Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, who had insisted on the law as a means of reducing high unemployment rates among young people.
Of course de Villepin was a key member of the Axis of Weasels so I’m not shedding any tears over the bastard.

ligneus:
I was going to say this would be funny if it wasn’t so sad but on second thoughts, no, it’s just funny. As ye sow and all that.
