Niccolo Machiavelli is a foreign affairs specialist with intricate knowledge of the Venetian city-states of the 13th - 15th Centuries. He received his education at an American public university where he double-majored in Political Science and English. After receiving his degrees, he traveled abroad where he lived for 8 years in places as far afield as Korea, Kenya, Ireland and Canada. Upon his return to the US, he took and passed the US Foreign Service exam but later failed in the interview process.

He currently makes his home in the Marshall Islands with his wife Ophelia and his children, Karl and Emily and his black labrador "Nixon".
