Dog Park Rule #1
If you don’t neuter your dog, don’t bring him to the dog park.
Last night some guy brought his “unaltered” male schnauzer to the dog park. The dog commenced to hump everything in sight. At first he politely pulled his dog off the other dogs but got tired of it after awhile and pretty much forced the job onto the other owners.
Soon a rather attractive young woman came into the park with her small Chiahuahua-mix. The guy zeroed in on the girl as soon as she entered the enclosure, and his dog was all over the chiahuahua. He tried to chat her up as the woman struggled to keep her dog away from the male. The guy was completely clueless that the actions of his horny dog pretty much outweighed the moves he was putting on the girl.

and it is completely irrelevent whether
the male dog is fixed or not.
My dog has been fixed for years and he
does this frequently.
There are over 2,000 dogparks in this country
and the number that prohibit unaltered dogs is less than 20.
Please stop posting messages about things
you don’t understand.

I was fine with what you said until…
1. Never tell another person what – or what not to write. It makes you sound like an asshole. If you don’t like what I write, feel free to comment or start you own blog.
2. Since we’re on the subject of “assholes” I notice that dogparks tend to be full of them. I’m not sure what possesses people to act like jerks at these places, but I’ve talked to numerous people who won’t take their dogs to dog parks because of the attitudes of the owners.
3. Unless the dog had fake balls aka “neuticals”, he was unaltered. You weren’t there, so don’t assume you know the situation because you don’t.
4. All dogs should be altered. Cats too. I have no sympathy for allows “nature” to take its course. That nature has resulted in thousands of animals being killed in shelters due to overpopulation.
5. I write under my own name and have for the past 5 years. Get some balls, “Bill”.

I have problems with owners like you because your dogs are the ones who won’t leave my spayed female alone at the park. You’re right; humping is a dominance display, which means it can lead to aggression. Please stay out of the dogs parks so the rest of us who have manners and control our dogs can enjoy them.
