Moonbats over Parador

One of my favorite little movies is Moon Over Parador in which Richard Dreyfuss is an out-of-work actor hired by the henchmen of a Banana Republic to stand in for the dead leader of the country.

Unfortunately Hugo Chavez isn’t dead, nor can moonbat Danny Glover play his part. However if he could, today might be a good day since the moonbats are converging on Venezuela to ignore the poverty and engage in some good ol’ cognitive dissonance – in which they claim unity with the oppressed while traveling freely to a nation where people are actually, well, oppressed.

“It’s nice to see the energy that’s going here,” said Catharine Quinn, a 34-year-old health activist from Chicago, who picked up a Che watch and a Chavez flashlight.

How much you want to bet that both the watch and the flashlight are made in China – a land that knows how to oppress.
