Got that? No matter what the weather, it’s all due to warming. This isn’t science; it’s a kind of faith. Scientists go along and even stifle dissent because, frankly, hundreds of millions of dollars in research grants are at stake. But for the believers, global warming is the god that failed.

When predictions of the effects of AGW cover every situation that can be imagined, and every situation which arises can easily be explained by AGW. Then AGW becomes infallible. This is when it is not a theory anymore, it becomes a faith.

22 December 2010, 3:24 pmExactly. What frightens me is that I value the importance of Science but am ridiculed by scientists for pointing out the logical inconsistencies of their arguments. It’s as if skepticism and questioning assumptions were no longer part of the canon.
