Oil Spill Update: 1,000 birds affected
Here’s the latest on the bird clean-up at TriState Bird Rescue. According to this article, a pair of nesting bald eagles are affected by the spill. Many don’t realize that we have bald eagles in this area of the country. I didn’t realize it when I moved here awhile back until I worked at an office near a nesting site. There’s nothing like seeing America’s symbol just outside of your cubicle with a large fish in its talons.
