For me, that is the plane that defines all others. It was the true “SUV” of aircraft… it could do it all for me. If I could be granted one plane to have, it would be one of those beauties. The only sad part was that I built model airplanes like I soldered: the bigger the glob, the better the job. Took me years to figure out that plastic model cement was actually a solvent!
