Two points:

1. Esmay asks for any examples of Republicans behaving equally badly. I submit the guy at the Republican convention who kicked a protestor while she was being held down by security.

2. I followed the link to the gay patriot site. Some guy pulled along side him on the highway, said “You suck", and threw something at the car. He assumes it was a rabid democrat, and assumes it was because of his bumper sticker. Why? There’s nothing in the account that indicates what the issue was.

I have no doubt that there are dumbass democrat assholes, just as there are equally dumbass republicant assholes, but this is not a particularly convincing example.

Y’all can do better than that.

Gay Patriot’s (and Esmay’s) issue is their belief (based on what?) that the attack was based on Patriot’s republican affiliation. Nothing in there about sexual preference.

Deal with the facts, please.
